Description:

Built in 1872, this lighthouse is known for its red flashing light necessary to distinguish it from other nearby lights. From visitor accounts, the best place to view the lighthouse is from behind the nearby amphitheater. Although the grounds and pier of the lighthouse are open, the tower itself is not.
