Sand Island Lighthouse

Located on a tiny island this lighthouse and keeper's cottage takes up much of the real estate on the little patch of land. Even though the island is miniscule it once served an active although small community. One of the Apostle Island Lights, this deactivated lighthouse has a distinct Norman Gothic architecture made of sandstone.
