Schoolhouse Beach

This lake has a unique shoreline devoid of sand. Only limestone rocks of the smoothest texture are gathered here, the result of glaciers cutting and polishing their way through Wisconsin over a period of thousands of years. One of the very few limestone beaches with egg-sized rocks, at Schoolhouse Beach there is a hefty fine for carrying these geological wonders off the property.
