Ship Rock Wayside

This sandstone peak is a natural formation that amazingly looks like a great ocean ship. Looking at it head on, it resembles a ship's prow. The peak rises 1,024 feet and is one of many geological formations in the county to be named after objects they resemble. (Photo by Traveling Lower48)
