Description:

Frank Lloyd Wright's most famous estate, Taliesin, was built in 1911. This was the site of six murders in a fire set by a disgruntled employee - whose victims included Wright's mistress Mamah Borthwick. After this tragic event Wright rebuilt the part of the house that burned down. After his own death in 1959 he left the estate to the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation which operates tours today. While the tours are not inexpensive, seeing this heavenly piece of Wisconsin should be on everyone's bucket list.
