The History Museum at the Castle

The museum wasn't established until 1985, although the castle had been built well before then - in 1923. Once a Masonic temple, the museum focuses largely on the history of illusionists in America especially the legendary Houdini. Other exhibits focus on Appleton natives such as Senator Joe McCarthy and Edna Ferber.
