Wisconsin State Capitol

Saves: 14
Check-ins: 19
The fifth capitol to be built in Wisconsin, this building is a long way from the prefab wood house that served as the first capitol. Construction on this one started in 1906 but didn't finish until over a decade later in 1917 at an astronomical cost of several million dollars. The building is comprised of materials from several countries - granite from Vermont and stone from the American South, France, Italy, Greece, Germany, and Norway.
