The largest balls of twine in terms of volume are in Darwin, Minnesota or Cawker City, Kansas depending on who you talk to. However, neither has surpassed the mass of JFKs ball - almost 21,500 lbs. JFK, the man behind the twine, has tirelessly worked on his sphere for almost 40 years. It sits under a carport in his yard but visitors are welcome during normal hours of the day as long as you sign the journal in the Twine Ball mailbox.
