Description:

Although its eruptions are usually no higher than 5 feet, Artesia Geyser never stops ejecting water from at least one of the two vents. One of the vents blows off clouds of steam, giving this perpetual geyser photographic appeal. Conveniently, a boardwalk spans Firehole Lake and Artesia Geyser lies on the south bank. To get there turn east on Firehole Lake Drive from Hwy 191. Follow the road and you'll see a parking lot adjacent to the lake.
