Beehive Geyser

Not as famous as "Old Faithful," the Beehive Geyser explodes 150 to 200 feet in the air, propelled by its unique cone-shaped nozzle. (Old Faithful averages about 130-140 feet in height.) The eruptions last for about 4-5 minutes, but only occur once or twice a day. The eruptions are irregular, but are signaled by a side channel that indicates when an eruption is to occur. Beehive Geyser is about 800 feet away from Old Faithful.
