An aquamarine jewel in West Thumb Geyser Basin is extremely hot despite its deceptively cool color. It's right next to Seismograph Pool even though each are extremely different in coloring. The cloudiness of the water is due to microorganisms that thrive in hot temperatures. To get there take the West Thumb Geyser Trail from the parking lot off of Grand Loop Rd. You'll walk approximately 0.2 miles to reach your destination.
