Clear Lake

Clear Lake Artist's Point Loop via Wapiti Lake Trailhead is a 4.6-mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Yellowstone National Park is suitable for all skill levels. The path is in use for hiking mainly from May until October. This loop trail features many different geographies to explore where you can experience Yellowstone's diversity. Begin the hike with a steady climb through an open meadow. To the right you'll see the Hayden Valley which is bear country so keep your eyes open. Stay to the left as you approach the first Clear Lake junction. Nearer to Clear Lake you'll see a cut to the left to Uncle Tom's trail but keep on the main Clear Lake trail. Clear lake is more pondlike, but it's an excellent, scenic photo opportunity destination.
