Located in the Norris Geyser Basin, this giant cauldron of greenish water gets its hue from sunlight entering the water and reflecting off of the yellow sulfur particles and mixing with blue light. Within these jewel-colored waters, countless microorganisms thrive in harsh conditions. To get to Norris Geyser Basin you'll drive to the intersection of the Grand Loop Road and Norris Canyon Road which is a four-way stop. The entry is actually the intersection. Just turn west and enter the parking lot.
