Hayden Valley Overlook

Since prehistoric times bison have lived year-round in Hayden Valley. The Yellowstone River overlook is a beautiful area for observing bison and other wildlife while taking in the extraordinary views of the valley and river. The centrally located Hayden Valley is gorgeous at dawn at dusk alike. You can see bears, elk, and bison in this area. The area between the lake and canyon is gorgeous, so don't miss it. Passing through the Hayden Valley provides a different perspective of Yellowstone.
