Hell's Half Acre

Hell's Half Acre in Natrona County, WY seems a more suitable landscape for an alien world inhabited by large insects. And, too, thought Paul Verhoeven, director of the film "Starship Troopers," where the battles of Klendathu were staged. The various geological formations composed of caves, ravines, and sharp cliffs are incredible to see. Unfortunately, not too much is around; the only business on this site was a restaurant, which closed down over a decade ago.
