Description:
27 acres next to Sweetwater River are covered in a mound of rock. Made of Archean granite the mound was probably uncovered from natural events about 15 million years ago. It was a revered place for the ancient tribes who inhabited the area before Europeans came. Walking paths take you right up to the top where you can see the signatures of people who traveled through here in the 1800s.
