National Elk Refuge

The National Elk Refuge is a protected area located in Jackson, Wyoming. It was established in 1912 to protect one of the largest elk herds in North America which migrates through the area. The refuge spans over 24,000 acres of grassy plains and wetlands, providing a vital habitat for a variety of wildlife species.
