Thermopolis' Swinging Bridge

Modeled on the famous Golden Gate, this swinging bridge has been described as "terrifying." The builder of the original was not an engineer and fashioned the bridge from cast-off parts. It certainly feels like a death-defying adventure to cross it but if it makes you feel any better, the original bridge was condemned in the 1980s. The one that you see today is a restored version with its safety fully sanctioned by the park.
